Native Americans who are not SYBMI members

The Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic serves all Native American People. We are, however, the payer of last resort. If you have any medical or dental insurance through an employer or private party we require that you provide SYTHC with that information so we can bill your insurance. If you are a Native American who is not a member of the SYBMI Tribe, regardless of where you reside, you are only eligible for care provided in the clinic. Any "outside services" are your responsibility. Below is a partial list of outside services (including but not limited to):

• X-rays (you will be billed by the hospital)
• Prescriptions (you will pay the pharmacy directly)
• Medical Lab work (you will be billed by the lab)
• Specialty referral visits (you will be billed by the provider)
• Dental Lab Work, crowns, partials, etc. (1/2 of the Dental lab fee is required on the first visit; the remaining dental lab fee is required before completion of dental work).
