Dr. Markham founded the Dental department in 1996 as it’s first director and has continued in that capacity for the past 8 years. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Dr. Markham received his DDS from Marquette University in 1962. He then served as a dentist for two years as Captain in the US Air Force serving with the Strategic Air Command on Guam. He was in private practice for 35 years in Southern California before moving to Santa Barbara County. Dr. Markham earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1972. He also consulted for City of Hope and was a part-time instructor at the USC School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Gold Foil Operators and the Academy of Operative Dentistry. Dr. Markham is dedicated to the continuing growth of the dental department and its ongoing success.
